Getting the restaurant ready

Four things. With these four, your booking page works.

1. Shifts

Shifts and hours is where you say when people can book, like Google's opening-hours editor: one row per day, open or closed, and the services you run —lunch, dinner— from the first to the last seating.

Tap a service to change its times and, with Also apply to, copy them to other days. Booking times are generated for you, every 15, 30 or 60 minutes.

2. Tables

If you signed up yourself

Your account starts by capacity and you can skip this step: in Shifts and hours you say how many people fit on each shift. Tables are only needed if you switch to working with tables in Settings → How you handle bookings.

In Settings → Rooms and tables you enter the tables you actually have, with their capacity. This is what makes sure you never get two bookings on the same table: the availability a guest sees comes from your real tables, not from a made-up number.

3. The menu

In QR menu you upload the menu PDF and we fill it in for you: sections, dishes and prices. You just check it over.

4. Notifications

Notifications is where you decide what the guest gets and what you ask of them: a reminder, whether you approve bookings yourself, and whether you take a deposit.

And that's it

Once that's done you have the link to your booking page. Worth putting it:

  • on your Google Business Profile, as the booking link;
  • in your Instagram bio;
  • on your website, as a button or as the widget;
  • on the table QR, next to the menu.
